The Altai is the centrepiece of Nidecker’s boot collection, offering premium features and support at an unbeatable price. It’s built around an asymmetrical upper that eliminates pressure points, with Dual-Dial BOA® laces to allow you to tighten the upper and lower sections independently. Nidecker has smoothed out the connection between the outsole and the boot via a molded section called the Transition Zone, eliminating the usual hard edge to prevent it from getting caught in your binding’s heelcup. A tough rubber print on the toe box protects the boot and adds a touch more style. Inside, there’s a new heat-moldable Silver liner, allowing you to customise the fit if you need to but which is comfortable straight out the box. The Altai is a mid-stiff model with plenty of lateral support, making it great for digging trenches in the piste or floating through forests with pinpoint accuracy. Tech

• Dual-Dial BOA: Lets you tighten your boots quickly and easily via two dials. The upper and lower foot can be adjusted independently for a custom fit, and to prioritise maximum power transfer or looser, surfier turns. Ready for anything, designed to withstand. The bombproof BOA® H4 Coiler is built for the most demanding riders and resists impacts from park to pow. Its efficient mechanism rapidly takes up lace slack, increasing speed of entry.
• 3D Liner Support: Awesome foot hold that starts right inside the liner, with 3D moulded material and J-bars around the ankle. Minimal movement, maximum control.
• Gravity+: Constructed from a single piece of bombproof and lightweight EVA, our Gravity+ outsole delivers great cushioning underfoot. The tread pattern is inspired by snowcat tracks, with a rubber section at the toe for reliable grip in icy conditions.
• Silver level: Heat moulding allows you to customise the fit of Nidecker’s versatile Silver liner, which also features a Custom Flex Zone around the toes for extra wriggle room, 8mm of PE foam and additional PU support. The liner is closed via a separate cuff connected to the inside of the shell, making it a breeze to get on and off. Velcro patches on both sides of the tongue help secure the fit.
• Liner Closure Shell Harness: Pull the inner laces to tighten a shell-mounted harness. Velcro secures the tongue.
• 3D Dual Density Insole: Anatomically designed to cradle your foot and constructed from two densities of EVA, with firmer material supporting the heel cup and arch. A fleece-lined footbed with silicone top-print keeps you warm and secure.
